Staton's primary environmental work is in removing underground storage tanks and contaminated soil. Our clients range from government agencies (including restricted military facilities and airports) and large corporations, to other commercial applications, general contractors and private residences. Our experience includes dismantling of contaminated buildings, plant decontamination and demolition.
Chrome plating and battery shops, paint stores, chemical plants and service stations are among the hundreds of our projects, including fuel storage tanks ranging from 100 gallons to 1,000,000 gallons.
Over the years and over 2,500 underground storage tanks, Staton's crews have become known for efficiency and expertise. Each employee has successfully completed the federal 40 hour hazardous materials training, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120. And each employee completes an annual refresher course, in which we study improvements and techniques in our specialized work. Several Staton employees hold Oregon & Washington DEQ certification or licensing for UST decommissioning work.
Employees are also First Aid and CPR rated and participate in on-going work skills education.
